Not taking care of daily stress can lead to ruined personal relationships and job failure. Plus individuals living with excessively high levels of stress are prone to making bad decisions, sometimes even irrational decisions, prompting them to engage in dangerous activities, such as stealing, speeding and drink driving.
If you live with high levels of stress, it may be time for a personal change of course. Unanswered stress does nothing good in anyone`s life. Prevention is better than a cure so it may be wise to change elements of your lifestyle in order to eliminate some of the stress in your life.
Anxiety is often the result of stress. Anxiety attacks are frequently caused by stress. Anxiety is a feeling of apprehension or fear. The source of this uneasiness is not always known or recognized, which can add to the distress you feel.
A type of thinking that causes anxiety is catastrophic thinking. These thinkers are the ones seen as worriers or naysayers. They usually assume that the worst outcome will take place and the effect that it will have is imagined as being, perhaps, more awful than it actually is.
Relieving stress is essential for good health. Don’t allow stress to make you sick. Plan a fun night with your family once or twice a week. Play board games, make popcorn or sing karaoke. Exercise is a great release. The idea is to toss out the worries (even if temporary) so you are better equipped to handle whatever comes your way. Taking time out with your friends and family takes you away from your worries, even for just a short time.
Dancing is a great way to relieve stress. Even if you can’t dance, just put on some music and start moving. Endorphins in your body will make you feel good. The kids will have a blast, and you will also burn some calories, tone your body and feel great in the process.

Yes, actually for different reasons. For starters it slows down your breathing and forces you to take deep breaths. When people are anxious or having a panic attack they are breathing short fast breaths in their chests, but singing requires deep abdominal breathing. Also, it gets your mind off other things, worries, fears, whatever, because your focussed on the melody and the lyrics. And third, it helps me with depression because I love to sing. Keep singing!
